The Recall Activity Guide: Turning Distractions Into Cues To Run to You
Here's your progressive list of things you can work on to turn distractions into cues to automatically run to you.
Welcome back to our Recall Guide series.
In the previous section, we talked about using toys to build recall. Toys evoke a lot of fast, enthusiastic behaviors, which is what we want to show up for our recall! Plus, they are something dogs like to chase that we can actually control, so they are a great way to build to ability to either turn to you instead of chasing and/or to recall out of chase.
In this section, we are going to cover how you can turn distractions into cues to run to you (so you don’t even have to call your dog!).
